I start with this because you may have seen the rest before. Skip to System Preferences if you’re not interested.

When I’m in Scrivener and I press ⌥S, up pops a useful palette.

Then I can do any of these (and more):

• Click on a line in the Palette to choose a macro
• Type T to activate or deactivate the Mac’s text to speech
• S to split a Scrivener document
• L to activate Linguistic Focus
• A to show a smaller palette, from which B, E, or S applies a style (or I can choose by clicking):

• Z to get zoom options (very handy if you use different sized monitors).
  • Type 0 to get 200%
  • or 7 to get 275%.

That’s only a TASTE of what Keyboard Maestro can do.
