Create an Editable Compile Format

Create from scratch or copy a built-in format.

Add & Edit Section Layouts

Add a chapter layout

• [ ] Open (double-click) an editable format (#2 in previous image)
• [ ] Section Layout name = Section Type name for simplicity (or not, your choice)

Edit the chapter layout

• [ ] Add chapter numbers
• [ ] Add a title and header image

Format headers

• Click where it says “chapter one” and use the format bar. I selected italics, Bookerly 12, and center.
• Click in Title or <$img:Label> to format the Suffix.
